Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini an entrepreneur. Linda is of Italian descent (her paternal grandfather), Irish, German, English and Scottish (her mother). Linda was the youngest of four children in San Francisco Bay, California. At the age of ten, old, she became enthralled with acting following her performance in the role of a singer in her school's Christmas production. The school play she performed in was as well as local community theater. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School, Mountain View in California. Lily James is a stage name used for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress who was born on 5 April 1989. She studied acting in the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and began her career with the British TV show Just William (2010). Her breakout moment came in the year 2015, when she portrayed the leading role in Cinderella, a fantasy film. She had previously played Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period show Downton Abbey. James went onto portray the Countess Natasha Rostova, in the version on television of War & Peace, in 2016, and was in several movies. This includes the action-packed film Baby Driver (2017) and the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018 and 2021) and the musicals Mamma Mia! There We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). The role she played as Pamela Anderson in the biographical show Pam & Tommy (2022) was nominated for a Golden Globe and a Primetime Emmy Award.
