Courteney Cox is the American actor, director, and producer. The most famous of her roles is her part in the TV show "Friends" and for playing one of the main roles in the "Scream" movie franchise. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama and developed an interest in acting when she was a youngster. She was enrolled in the study of the field of architecture in Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC but she decided to leave her studies for a full-time acting profession. Her movie debut by playing in 'Down Twisted'. She started gaining notoriety after appearing in one of her most prominent role in the horror slasher film "Scream'. The film was profitable commercially, and it earned eleven times its budget. It also received acclaim by critics. She reprised her role in all the three sequels from the original film. The fame of her character grew to the heights of her career after playing the lead role in the acclaimed sitcom "Friends'". There were numerous awards and nominations for the role. The show, which was a huge hit, aired over ten years. Her most recent works includes a part as a co-star in the film drama "Mothers and daughters".
